ALPINCO AS TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE FOR SKI SCHOOL SERVICES
1. GENERAL
These terms and conditions, together with your confirmed booking, constitute the contractual basis for your reservation of ski school/ski instruction at one of Alpinco AS’ (Alpinco) ski resorts: Hafjell, Kvitfjell, or Oppdal.
All ski school/ski instruction services (Ski Courses) at Alpinco’s ski resorts are operated by third-party providers (the Ski School), and Alpinco solely acts as an intermediary for the services provided by these third parties. These terms and conditions govern the relationship between you and the respective Ski School.
2. BOOKING AND PAYMENT
2.1 Completion of Booking
All bookings for Ski Courses must be made via Alpinco’s website, www.alpinco.com, or through direct purchase at the Ski School’s premises at one of Alpinco’s ski resorts.
The person making the booking (the Purchaser) must be at least 18 years of age at the time of booking.
2.2 Binding Nature of the Booking
The booking becomes binding for both parties as soon as the Purchaser has received a booking confirmation and made payment in accordance with Clause 2.3.
In the case of bookings with a deferred payment deadline, the booking becomes binding for the Purchaser upon confirmation, even if payment has not yet been completed.
2.3 Payment
The Purchaser is obliged to pay the agreed price at the time of booking via Alpinco’s website, within the deadline stated in the booking confirmation, or prior to the course start date, depending on the terms specified in the confirmation.
The Ski School’s payment service accepts card payments, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Alpinco gift cards. By using the payment service, the Purchaser accepts the terms of the payment provider.
Any transaction costs associated with international payments shall be borne by the Purchaser.
2.4 Late Payment
In cases where payment is deferred, the booking is binding from the time it is made. The Purchaser’s payment obligation in such a case is governed by Clause 4.
A fee of NOK 100 will be added if Ski course is paid for after it started.
3. PRICES
The Ski School is responsible for delivering Ski Courses at the prices stated on their or Alpinco’s website, promotional offers, or any other informational or marketing material issued by the Ski School or Alpinco.
The Ski School reserves the right to correct any typographical errors and to amend the booking to reflect the correct price. The Ski School also reserves the right to adjust prices due to increased costs of goods and services, taxes, or other circumstances beyond its control.
Any such price adjustments require prior notice to the Purchaser before the Ski Course begins.
4. CANCELLATION / CHANGES
Ski Courses may be cancelled or rescheduled (date/time) up to 48 hours prior to the course start time. If cancelled within this timeframe, the purchase amount will be refunded, less a cancellation fee of NOK 300.
No fees apply for changes in date or time made at least 48 hours before the course starts.
Cancellations or changes may be made in writing via the Ski School’s email address or in person at the Ski School’s premises.
No refunds are provided for cancellations or changes made less than 48 hours prior to the course start. In such cases, the Purchaser remains liable for payment under the original booking.
If a booking is made with a deferred payment deadline and the deadline expires more than 48 hours before the course starts, failure to pay by the deadline will be considered a cancellation, and the Purchaser will be released from the payment obligation, except for the NOK 300 cancellation fee.
In such cases, the cancellation will be processed automatically on the day following the payment due date. Any new bookings by the Purchaser shall be subject to these terms and conditions, current pricing, and Ski School availability.
If the Ski School is unable to deliver the Ski Course as booked, for instance due to instructor injury, illness, or similar, the Ski School will offer an alternative course with a new date, time, or meeting location. The Purchaser may decline the proposed change and is then entitled to a full refund.
5. RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL
Ski Courses are considered leisure activity services scheduled for a specific date or period. Such purchases are exempt from the right of withdrawal under Section 22, Subsection 1, Letter m of the Norwegian Right of Withdrawal Act.
6. SKI SCHOOL SERVICES
6.1 General
The Ski School offers instruction in skiing and snowboarding techniques for children aged four and older, as well as for adults. Courses are tailored to skill level, ranging from complete beginners to experienced skiers seeking to improve their technique. Both group lessons and private lessons are available.
6.2 Group Lessons
All group lessons begin on a Monday, and all participants must attend from the first day.
Group lessons include instruction only; the Purchaser must independently secure a valid lift pass, ski equipment, and weather-appropriate clothing prior to the course start time.
The commencement of group lessons is subject to a minimum number of participants. The Ski School reserves the right to merge groups with too few participants. Such changes may affect the start time and meeting location, without constituting a breach of contract.
6.3 Private Lessons
Private lessons are available for one to five participants per instructor.
Private lessons include instruction only; all participants must independently arrange for lift passes, ski equipment, and weather-appropriate clothing prior to the course start.
The Ski School recommends that all participants in the same private lesson be of a similar skill level. A disparity in skill levels may affect the instructor’s focus and reduce the benefit of the instruction. This does not constitute a breach of contract.
7. PARTICIPANT’S RESPONSIBILITIES
7.1 General
Each participant is responsible for informing the Ski School of any special needs well in advance of the course start. Participants must arrive at the designated meeting point at least 5 minutes before the course begins, with a valid lift pass, appropriate equipment, and weather-appropriate clothing.
7.2 Travel Insurance
Alpine skiing involves an increased risk of injury and damage. Each participant must ensure they have travel insurance that covers any potential injuries or losses incurred during the Ski Course.
7.3 Compliance with Instructions and Safety Rules
Participants are responsible for following the ski instructor’s directions, adjusting speed and skiing patterns according to their ability, and conducting themselves in a manner that does not endanger themselves or others.
Participants must comply with safety regulations applicable to alpine skiing, including the Alpine Safety Rules (https://alpinogfjell.no/alpinvettreglene) and the current rules/instructions of the ski resort.
8. REFUNDS
8.1 General Information
Alpinco aims to provide the best possible skiing experience at all its destinations. Skiing is an outdoor activity, and the availability of lifts and trails may vary throughout the season depending on weather, snow conditions, and technical operations. Participants must expect that not all lifts and/or trails are open at all times, which does not constitute a breach of contract by the Ski School or Alpinco.
8.2 Weather and Snow Conditions
Mountain weather is unpredictable. The Ski School offers no refunds for Ski Courses cancelled due to adverse weather, fog, snow, ice, thawing, or similar conditions. The Purchaser is responsible for checking weather forecasts and assessing whether their skill level and equipment are suitable for prevailing conditions.
8.3 Operational Interruptions
The Ski School provides no refunds for courses that cannot be completed due to operational disruptions at the ski resort.
8.4 Participant-Related Issues
Participants are responsible for arriving on time at the correct location with a valid lift pass and proper equipment and clothing. No refund will be granted for non-attendance due to failure to meet these requirements.
No refund is given if the participant chooses to withdraw before the Ski Course is completed.
9. PERSONAL DATA

10. DISPUTE RESOLUTION
If you have a complaint, you are requested to contact the Ski School directly. If the parties are unable to reach an agreement, the dispute may be submitted to the courts.
This agreement is governed by Norwegian law, with Vestre Innlandet District Court as the agreed legal venue.

Payment
Credit card payments in favor of the ski school are collected by TREKKSOFT AG, Hauptstrasse 15, 3800 Matten, Switzerland ("TREKKSOFT"). TREKKSOFT will appear as TREKKSOFT TOUR BOOKING on your credit card statement.
